What do the funds from the lottery support?
By purchasing your ticket, you not only get the chance to win half the jackpot (up to $75,000), but also to make a meaningful impact on purchasing medical equipment needed to help keep our communities healthy. All proceeds of the BIG 50/50 will be directed to support care and equipment for Sechelt | shíshálh Hospital.

How will I know if I won?
You will be contacted by phone on May 15th, 2026 if you have won. In addition, the winner’s details will be posted online at https://shf5050.com/winners on May 15, 2026.
Is my ticket tax deductible?
As per BC Gaming and CRA regulations, tickets are not eligible for charitable tax receipts. If you would like to receive a charitable tax receipt, you can make a donation directly to the Sechelt Hospital Foundation here.
